ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ 6. ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಆತಿಥ್ಯ - ವಸತಿನಿಲಯಗಳ ವಿಧಗಳು, ಗೃಹವಸತಿಗಳು, ಅರಣ್ಯ ವಸತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ವಸತಿಗಳು.

ಗೃಹ ವಸತಿಗಳು.

ಪೀಠಿಕೆ:- ಭಾರತದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವ “ಅಥಿಥಿದೇವೋಭವ“ ಎಂಬ ನುಡಿಯಿದೆ. ಅದರಂತೆ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪಚರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆಸ್ತೆ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಬಂದು ಹೋಟೆಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಈ ಅತಿಥಿದೇವೋಭವ ಎಂಬ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಅರಿವಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಲ್ತಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಗೃಹ ವಾಸ್ತವ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ಗೃಹ ವಸತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಆತಿಥ್ಯದ ಅನುಭವವು ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

 

ಗೃಹವಸತಿ ಅಥವಾ ಗೃಹವಾಸ್ತವ್ಯ:- ಗೃಹವಸತಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಸತಿ ನಿಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಊಟ ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿಗಳ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ತಾವು ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆಂದೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅವರ ಊಟ-ುಪಚಾರಗಳ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರೇ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಗೃಹವಸತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶದ ಹೋಟೆಲು ಅಥವಾ ವಸತಿನಿಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾದ ಆತಿಥ್ಯವು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ನಿಗದಿತ ಹಣ ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

 

ಗೃಹವಸತಿಗಳ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣಗಳು:- ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಸತಿನಿಲಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಗೃಹವಸತಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಾರಣಗಳಿವೆ. ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ,

01. ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ವಸತಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು::-  ಗೃಹವಸತಿಗಳು ಭಾರತದ ಅಥವಾ ಆಯಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಮನೆಗಳು, ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು, ಕೋಟೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಒಳನಾಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ವಸತಿಗಳಂತಹ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ವಸತಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ಗೃಹವಸತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಹಾ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಒಡನಾಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಗೃಹವಸತಿಗಳು ನೀಡುತ್ತವೆ.
