ಅ. ಹರಪ್ಪ ನಾಗರೀಕತೆ, ವಿಸ್ತಾರ, ವಿವಿಧ ಹಂತಗಳು, ನಗರ ಯೋಜನೆ, ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು; ಕೃಷಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ; ಬೆಳೆಗಳು, ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳು, ಅಳತೆ ಮತ್ತು ತೂಕಗಳು, ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ, ಮುದ್ರೆಗಳು, ಲಿಪಿ. ನಾಗರೀಕತೆಯ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಗಳು.

A.  The Harappan/Indus Valley Civilization- Extent of the Civilization,  Different Phases, Towns & town planning, citadel; agricultural technologies;  Bricks, Beads, Bones (craft productions) and trade, seals, script, weights, the  end of the civilization. Problems of interpretation

ಬ. ಪೂರ್ವ ವೈದಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ; ಆರ್ಯರ ಮೂಲ ಮತ್ತು ನೆಲೆಗಳು, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು.

B.  Early Vedic Culture- Origin of the Aryans and their settlements,  contribution to literature, Polity, Economy, Society & Religion

ಚ. ಉತ್ತರ ವೈದಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು.

Unit-IV State Formation in Ancient India.

ಅ. ಮೌರ್ಯರ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ : ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿನ 16 ಮಹಾಜನಪದಗಳು.

A.  Pre- Mauryan History- Republics and 16 Mahajanapadas in Ancient India

ಬ. ಜೈನ ಮತ್ತು ಬೌದ್ಧ ಧರ್ಮಗಳ ಉಗಮ; ಮಹಾವೀರ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌತಮ ಬುದ್ಧನ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧನೆಗಳು. ಧರ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣಗಳು.

B.  Growth of Jainism & Buddhism- Life & teachings of Mahaveera &  Gautama Buddha, Causes for the spread & Decline of Jainism & Buddhism

ಚ. ಮೌರ್ಯ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯ; ಮೂಲ ಮತ್ತು ಆರಂಭದ ಅರಸರು, ಚಂದ್ರಗುಪ್ತ ಮೌರ್ಯ, ಆಡಳಿತ; ಅಶೋಕ, ಕಳಿಂಗ ಯುದ್ಧ, ಬೌದ್ಧ ಧರ್ಮದ ಪ್ರಭಾವ, ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳು, ಧಮ್ಮ, ಕಲೆ & ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ. ಅಶೋಕನ ಶಾಸನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಧರ್ಮ, ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಸ್ತು-ಶಿಲ್ಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು.

C.  The Mauryan Empire- Origin- Early rulers- Chandra Gupta Maurya - Administration, Asoka-Kalinga War, Buddhism, Buddhist Council,  Dhamma, Growth of Mauryan Art. Asokan inscriptions- Their contribution  to Religion, Literature, Art and Architecture.

 

ಘಟಕ 5. ಮೌರ್ಯೋತ್ತರ ಕಾಲ: ಬದಲಾದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪರಿಸ್ತಿತಿಗಳು (ಸಾ.ಶ.ಪೂ. 300 ರಿಂದ ಸಾ.ಶ.ವ. 300 ವರೆಗೆ).

Unit-V Post Mauryan Period/ Changing political formations (circa 300 BCE to circa  CE 300).

ಅ. ಕುಶಾಣರು- ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನಿಷ್ಕ. ಅವರ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು.

A.  Kushanas- Political History-Kanishka and their cultural Contributions.

ಬ. ಶಾತವಾಹನರು; ಮೂಲ. ಆರಂಭದ ಅರಸರು. ಗೌತಮಿಪುತ್ರ ಶಾತಕರ್ಣಿ. ಧರ್ಮ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಸ್ತು-ಶಿಲ್ಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು.

B. The Satavahanas- origin- Early rulers- Gautami Putra Sathakarni-their  Contribution to Religion, Literature, Arts & Architecture.

ಚ. ನಕಾಶೆ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ.

C. Map Study:

1. ಹರಪ್ಪ ನಾಗರೀಕತೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ನೆಲೆಗಳನ್ನು (ನಗರಗಳು) ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿರಿ.

1. Ø Mark the important towns of Harappan Civilization and write their  historical importance

2. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶೋಕನ ಶಾಸನಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿ ಬರೆಯಿರಿ.

2. Mark the important places of Ashokan Edicts found in India and write  a short note about them.
